God loves you and has a plan for your life. (John 3:16 "for God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 10:10 '...I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.") Why are most people not experiencing an abundant life? Because of sin we are separated from God and cannot experience His love or abundant plan. We are destined to spend eternity in hell. (Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 6:23 tells us, "for the wages of sin is death, but the FREE gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.") The good news is that Jesus Christ is God's provision for man's sin. We are not capable of doing enough good works to erase our sin debt. Ephesians 2:8-9 "for by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." It is not enough to simply know this truth. We must exercise our faith. John 1:12 says, "but to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." How do you receive Christ? Accept that you are a sinner, Believe that Jesus died for your sins, Confess that Jesus is you Lord and Savior.
